: @tardate actually when you reply to someone's thread and cc twitter, it automatically adds the thread creator's name (@iamclovin here) to the msg, so that it doesn't pollute ur twitterspace.

: Actually I'm finding the "@" in front of usernames for each reply a little confusing. Anyone else feel the same?

-
: a virility experiment: don't start the cc'd tweet with "@" to reach all followers of participants. tamper for spam later

: @choonkeat Lol I'm thinking you meant "virality" and not "virility". But yeah agree with that, worth a shot.

: @choonkeat @chuyeow Hmm yeah, I didn't want to bug ppl who weren't interested, but can make the change later tonight to try it out. The original thought was to only alert the thread-creator by default, since he would probably be the most interested in the goings-on of the thread.

: Might be worth doing for a start to get the word out. Though, it might be bordering on spam for some individuals.

: i guess u cld get complex & treat 1st reply differently from subsequent replies (from same person) or etc. also, remembering my last "cc:twitter" (unchecked) pref ain't helping the service either ;-)

: @choonkeat hmm yes, agree more intelligence is required. The remembering cc: twitter thing - I personally would not like it if a site didn't remember that, so that stays ;)
